Aria's Thoughts on Becoming a Big Sister

In case you missed our exciting news on social media, Aria's going to be a big sister! After three years of trying and my doctor telling me last year that I probably wouldn't be able to conceive again, my husband and I were completely surprised to find out that we're expecting a little miracle to arrive early next June! Yaaaay!!

Aria was right next to me when I took the pregnancy test so she was the first to know. Yesterday she got to see baby kick for the first time at my 10 week ultrasound and then she gave me a foot massage before bed! She's over the moon excited and it's so great to have a little helper and best friend to share this journey with!

Here are some fun photos (and outtakes!) from our pregnancy announcement and a little Q&A with Aria!

Q: Aria, how do you feel about becoming a big sister?

A: Happy and excited!

Q: Do you want baby to be a boy or a girl? Why?

A: A Girl. Because I like girls!

Q: What do want to do with your baby brother or sister?

A: Teach them things that I know, like kickball and colors.

Q: What song will you teach baby first?

A: Twinkle, Twinkle!

(These two had entirely too much fun with the self-timer while I was getting dressed!)

Q: What do you want to name baby?

A: Bebe Hanalei Fullbright.

Q: Where do you want to take baby for his or her first trip?

A: Hawaii, and then Maryland.

Doc says so far everything looks great and baby is measuring about 10 weeks and 2 days! I'm so tired all the time but haven't had any sickness. I'm looking forward to getting through this first trimester, decorating for the holidays and starting to work on baby's nursery!

Aloha Little Sweetness!! We can't wait to meet you!

Thanks so much for stopping by y'all. We hope your week is filled with smiles and hugs!
