Hello March! The trees are already blooming, the birds are chirping and temps have reached the 80’s in Texas so it definitely feels like Spring!
We love wearing all the bright florals and pastels this time of year and this beautiful fitted Aqua Floral Crisscross Maternity dress from PinkBlush Maternity is my new favorite go-to for daily outings with Aria. It’s so comfortable with lots of stretch for growing baby and I know I’ll have this on repeat well into the summer months! Paired with simple wedges or cute strappy sandals, this maternity dress is definitely a must-have this Spring!
Aria took this sweet photo of me the other day in Tomball, Texas and she told me exactly what to do. "Mommy, hold your belly and touch the flower in your hair." Yes, Ma'am! Something tells me she'll make a great director or producer one day!
Although I have to take it easy this year with baby boy on the way we definitely want to make the most of this beautiful time of year and try to keep up with our Spring family traditions. I certainly won't be riding my bike anytime soon or going horseback riding, but here are our top twenty (pregnant mommy-safe) must-do activities for this Spring:
1. Go strawberry picking
2. Take family bluebonnet photos
3. Plant wildflowers
4. Grow our own tomatoes
5. Visit a new place we've never been
6. Go to The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival
7. Make flower crowns
8. Go to a Concert in the Park
9. Register Aria for a new activity (tennis lessons?!)
10. Have a picnic at the waterway
11. Make homemade Hawaiian shave ice
12. Bake a homemade berry pie
13. Visit a botanical garden
14. Paint a still life
15. Watch for shooting stars
16. Go fishing at the lake
17. Have a tea party
18. Visit a local farm and buy local produce
19. Go to the Houston Rodeo
20. Find a four-leaf clover (she's already on the lookout!)
What's on Aria's Spring Bucket List? Become a big sister and go back to Hawaii! Sounds good to me. :)
We're actually on our babymoon right now in Banff, Canada in the middle of the Canadian Rocky Mountains (quite the opposite of Hawaii!) and it's snowing! Aria had a curling lesson and went sledding for the first time today. I can't wait to share our adventure with y'all as well as Aria's 5th birthday party (so behind!) but for now, I'm going to go enjoy some hot chocolate and snuggle with my loves.
Happy March y'all!
xoxo Aimey + Aria
